In a Globalized World where the economic giants (USA, Japan, South Korea, China) and the new emerging economies (Brazil, India) are expanding their innovative capacity, the European Union needs more innovation to re-launch its own global competitiveness. In this regard, SYNERGY project aims to increase the innovative capacity of European regions by strengthening their links and cross-border cooperation, thus creating synergies between regional actors such as SMEs, public bodies, businesses, commercial organizations and research and higher education institutes.
